American Consulting Professionals, LLC (American) is pleased to announce the addition of Charlie Humphries to our team as Design-Build Director responsible for providing strategic leadership for all design-build and alternative delivery pursuits.
“We are very excited to have Charlie join us,” said Scott Korpi, PE, one of American’s managing principals. “His leadership and experience will be instrumental in supporting our existing clients and fostering new partnerships as we strive for excellence in design-build delivery.”
Charlie brings 38 years of experience in the construction industry and previously held senior management and executive level positions with Middlesex Corporation and Johnson Bros in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and the Southwest United States. He has been responsible for major design-build transportation projects throughout Florida including Jupiter Avenue Bridge Replacement, SR 951 Big Marco Pass Bridge, SR 46 Bridge over Lake Jessup, Lee Roy Selmon Expressway Bridge Decks Replacement, plus projects involving TECO, Walt Disney, Universal Studios, and others.
“As we continue to grow, we are thrilled to have someone with Charlie’s experience and leadership in the industry to oversee our design-build operations,” said Brian Mirson, PE, AICP, one of American’s managing principals.
He is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and has held various leadership positions with the Associated General Contractors, Associated Builders & Contractors, plus many other industry Associations.
With roots dating back to 1987, American specializes in planning, design, and construction engineering inspection of transportation facilities.
