Santa Rosa County, FL – American Consulting Professionals, LLC’s Tom King Bayou Bridge Design Team attended the ribbon cutting for the new pedestrian bridge on Wednesday. This LAP project with FDOT District Three and Santa Rosa County was celebrated with the assistance of a local 95-year-old resident, who rides her bike through the adjacent neighborhood every day – she was the first to cross the bridge! Superior Construction built the wooden bridge with DRMP, Inc. as their CEI. The project allows people to safely cross Tom King Bayou along East Bay Boulevard from Hwy. 98 to Hwy. 87.
County Commissioner Piech gave a short speech and the bike-riding resident helped cut the ribbon. Also in attendance, were: Colten Wright and Sam Parker (County Commissioners); Rebecca Jones, PE, and John Studstill, PE (Santa Rosa County Staff); and Maria Showalter, Meghan Jadofsky, and James Proffitt (FDOT Staff).
